3/4 cup almonds 1/2 cup soy milk zest and juice of 1/2 lemon pinch salt 1-2 cloves of garlic (depending on how much of a kick you want the sauce to have!)
Place almonds and soy milk in food processer, and blend until the mixture has a creamy consistency. It doesnt have to be completly smooth. I blended for about 5 minutes on low speed. Add in garlic and lemon zest and blend until combined. Place lemon juice and salt into blender and blend for another minute. (The lemon juice thickens the sauce) Serve on top of steamed veggies, or along side patties, or you could even try using it as a pasta sauce!!
This recipe is gluten free/ oil and butter free / vegan and has so much flavour!! You could improvise with this recipe by adding herbs, and leaving out the lemon zest...
