Wholefoods Muesli Slice

From: Recipes to the Rescue


  • cup rolled millet
  • 2 cups rolled oats or puffed grain
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • cup brown rice flour
  • cup currants or chopped fresh dates
  • cup finely chopped dried apricots
  • 2 cup almonds or other nut
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup hot water


  • Mixed together rolled millet, rolled oats/puffed millet, suflower seeds, brown rice flour, currants and apricots.
  • Grind almonds to a paste.
  • Add almond paste honey and hot water to dry mixture, mixing all ingredients well together. Spread onto a lightly greased tray.
  • Bake in a moderate oven until lightly browned.
  • Cool, then refrigerate before slicing.
